since i was 14 until 18 i had a boy cut hair and it was really cool and easy to deal with.then i decided to let it grow taller.now that my hair is until the beginning of my shoulders,not too tall.

i was looking for a new hair style,and all the styles i liked were too short.

my boyfriend is against the idea because he says he likes it so much this way.

You are the one that has to deal with your mane everyday. I think that if you want to have your hair cut, you should do it. Don't ask his opinion, or expect him to like it. If he does, then great. If he doesn't, then I am sure he likes you for more than just your hair if he is any kind of real guy! The nice thing about hair is that it is going to grow back no matter what! Maybe don't get it cut, maybe get it colored or highlighted a little and that might give you a different look without having to cut the hair. If after that you still want a change, then get it cut in a couple of weeks.
