What to do about my hair?

So I'm getting married in November (4 months away EEK!) and don't know what to do about my hair. I used to wear it extremely short and a little spiky in the back. Not scary punk spikey but playful bedhead spikey. My front was normally touseled or clipped to the side with a clippey or headband. It sounds sort of childish right then but it is rather cute. I decided last december when my fiance proposed that I wanted longer hair for the wedding. Now I'm not so sure. Should I cut my hair short again? Maybe not the same style but similar or should I continue and see how long it gets? The shortest part is about at my temple the longest about at my chin. I'm afraid I'm not gonna be able to do anything useful with it come November anyway and will end up having to cut it short. Not that that bothers me but my hair is driving me insane. My quandry here is I don't know if short hair will look normal with a fingertip length veil and sparkly headband. Any suggestions?

I say wait it out. You can be patient with your hair for four more months. Then if it doesn't work get it cut then. Just make sure you make your hair appointment a couple weeks ahead of time. That way you are sure the color turns out (if you are going to have it colored) and you get used to the new style. And the day before or of you can have any touch ups done along with the styling.

I started growing out my hair in 2002 - it was chin length - and met my husband in 2003, we were married in 2005, and by the time our wedding came around, my hair was down past the center of my back. It worked out great because all of it was pulled up for the wedding day. Your hair is still really short...maybe just go and have it curled for the big day...add a few highlights to give it more volume and enjoy yourself!

you need to book a hair preview with your stylist

that way you can play with different ways to wear it and pick one you Like best!

you can always add extensions too

What to do about my hair?

I always think that you should put your personality in your wedding as much as you can, and if that means cutting your hair short then you should. Think about how long you have been trying to grow out your hair, (should be about 7 months counting July) if your hair hasn't grown that long it's not going to grow much longer in 4 months. Your guests are really not going to be worried about your hair, I have seen lots of brides leave their hair maybe use a flower or something but it is simple and still looks fantastic. This is really your decision on how you want your hair. Have you talked with your fiance to see what he thinks?

I think short hair would be gorgeous and sexy. What is your dress like? Have you thought about a birdcage veil? That would look GREAT with short hair. Your should definitely wear your sparkly headband at the reception if you can't make use of it at the ceremony... It may look too much if your sparkly headbadn is thick... but if it's thin, I would say go ahead and wear both.

In the next four months, how much do you think your hair will grow? If you think it will stay pretty short, just curl the ends... and you can have a really sexy look... with defined curls.

Good luck with your wedding plans!!!

I would keep growing it...you can always cut it before the wedding if it comes down to not liking it, but you can't grow it back (without paying a high price for extensions) if you cut it short.

If you just let it grow out and trim it every two months then it will grow. Make sure you drink alot of water and exercise. The h2o and exercise helps it grow. I cut my hair last october and now it is almost down the middle of my back. You should really go with what you like. It is your wedding day and you should wear it the way you want.
