Do you think a fringe would look ok on my hair?

I have long black hair with a lot of choppy layers cut into it. The length is somewhere between my shoulders and my elbow, roughly in the middle, so is not incredibly long, but isn't short either.

The style my hair is cut in is kinda like Noel Fielding's (but it doesn't make me look like a boy!) just extremely choppy layers and plain black - I straighten my hair, so it doesn't stick out all over the place but you can see the layers, and I am thinking of getting a really blunt thick fringe cut like Lily Allens? Can you tell me what you think?

Yeah i know what you mean, i love noels hair it really suits him, and lilly allens fringe luks really good. But seeing as i have never seen you i can't really give you that sort of advice. The best thing to do is go to a salon and ask them there what they think, and also there is a website where you can try different styles on your face with a picture of yourself!
