My hair is really long, it goes down to right above my waist. For halloween, my friend with short hair is pulling and pinning it up into cat ears. I know there is a way to twist it and make cat ears with long hair, but I'm not sure how to do it.

Just tie your hair into two ponytails and make them into buns. Pin everything up and there you go :) You can also try teasing your hair before making the bun (but after making the pony tails) that will give it more hold. Another idea would be to only use part of your hair for the ears as described above, and just work the rest of the hair around it. Like start from the bottom, make two french braids (one on each side) and keep on braiding and then pin the braids into buns looking like ears. It will give you less hair to work with on the ears which might be less heavy. I hope this helps!
